The Challenge
Creating a video that captures the dream of living in a city designed for comfort and modern living—all while showcasing Goght Urban Valley as a child's paradise—was both exciting and challenging. With the city still under construction and no real visuals available, we were tasked with bringing an entire vision to life using only the city plan and descriptions. This required imagining and illustrating a city from scratch, all while connecting its story to the historical significance of Goght and delivering a heartfelt message for the Koreez event.
Storyboarding
The video’s journey began with storyboarding, capturing every key scene from the imaginative perspective of a child. We visualized transitions from hand-drawn sketches in a little girl’s album to vibrant 2D animations that depicted sports complexes, playgrounds, and the majestic apricot gardens Goght is known for. Each frame was carefully planned to ensure smooth storytelling and meaningful connections between the girl’s dream city and the historical and cultural essence of Goght.
Process
We brought the dream of Goght Urban Valley to life through meticulous scene-by-scene hand-drawing, where every detail was infused with creativity and relevance.

Initial Concept: The idea of using a child’s imagination as the central theme came early in the creative process.

Drawing & Animation: Each element—from apricot gardens to historical nods to Argishti I—was hand-drawn and animated to match the playful and heartfelt tone of the project.

Music & Voiceover: To capture the emotional core, we recorded a voiceover in a child’s voice and paired it with the nostalgic tune “Found Dream” from a beloved Armenian movie.

Transitions: We used seamless transitions between the girl's room, her drawings, and the animated scenes to create a cohesive and immersive viewing experience.
Post-Production & Polishing
The final editing phase ensured every element came together as a cinematic masterpiece. From the subtle details of apricots on the table to the striking final scene transitioning from Argishti I’s face to the girl’s history book, each frame was designed with intention. Sound design, color grading, and timing were refined to create a story that felt like a journey through time and imagination.
Final Result
The video was unveiled to an audience of thousands during the Koreez contest, projected on a large screen for maximum impact. The heartfelt storytelling, combined with the childlike wonder of the animation and the nostalgic Armenian soundtrack, captivated the audience. The room filled with warm reactions—smiles, applause, and visible emotions from teachers, students, and parents alike. The seamless blend of imagination, culture, and modern design struck a chord with viewers, leaving a lasting impression and perfectly positioning Goght Urban Valley as a place of dreams and possibilities.
